Reason for and method of establishment The legal grounds of the current status of the Town of Nová Role is the Czech Republic Constitution (chapter seven) and Act No. 128/2000 Coll., on municipalities, as amended.
The Town of Nová Role represents a territorial autonomous community of citizens, a public corporation with the status of a legal entity – in legal relationships it acts in its own name and bears the responsibility resulting from these relationships.
The town manages its business independently and while doing so it follows the law and other legal regulations issued pursuant to the law. The Town of Nová Role owns assets and financial resources and may dispose of them independently under the conditions set by applicable law.
The Town of Nová Role exercises, within its territory, public administration within the scope set by special regulations and performing this delegated competency the town follows the law and other legal regulations and resolutions by the government and directives of central administration offices and it further follows proposals of measures or resolutions by the Regional Authority, adopted pursuant to a special act under the performance inspection of delegated competency.
